Here is my second take on this week's sketch.

 By Maureen featuring Chevron Love, Die Sidekicks Hearts & Swirls Frame Die

 I mixed some bronze paint with embossing paste and then spread it over a leaf stencil.  Once everything was dry, I cut it into a bookmark!  My hearts and swirls frame was needing some love so I used it for the sentiment panel.

Autumn has created a gorgeous uplifting card using distress inks, a double stamped Grace Plain Jane, and Poppy Birthday on the tag's background. 

 Hillary's card had me at RED doily!  Wow!  She has created an inspiring card featuring Strong Anchor, Shine Bright Sequin Mix, Nautical Die Set, and Classy Label Die.

Rosemary's colour combination, pretty papers, gold lettered tag and sweet tag ties caught my eye!  Gorgeous!  Add Framed Florals, Unto Us, Bluebells Die, and Classy Label Die and you've got one amazing card!

Here is my take on this week's sketch.

In my continuing saga use up old paper, I found this large print paper with a wonderful mix of colours and big flowers.  It was a bit too busy on its own, so I covered most of it up, but pulled all my other colours from it.

My beloved Jotted Heart die came out to play as did the Rounded Rectangle die and Flag It die set.  I outlined the heart with an image from Love Notes and the rectangle with an image from Treasured Words.  The sentiment is a combination of the Hello Friend Plain Jane and a sentiment from Poppy Birthday.  The subtle pattern on the blue panel is a Versamarked background image from Better Together.

Here are a few beautiful cards I spied in the link-up this week...

Adore the gold polka dots and doily Vickie used for her card, and how she paired them with the bold sentiment from Deco Borders.

Loved Heather's time card with the clock in the background and the 90 peeking out behind the sentiment panel.

Inge's card with the bit of woodgrain in the background, cork star and open circles was another beautiful card I spied in this week's gallery.

Here is my take on this week's sketch.

I picked up these fabulous Sunkissed Doodlebug papers at my local LSS'  summer paper blow out sale last week, and I couldn't wait to use them!

Since my birthday card stash is seriously lacking at the moment, out came this fabulous Happy Birthday Plain Jane.  I paired it with the tag die from Flourished Tag and the fun Loopy Blooms die for the flower.   The turquoise flag is from the Flag It die set and I added a few butterflies for good measure wink, wink.

Here are a few beautiful cards I spied in the link-up this week...

Loved how Ellen used black and white with a pop of colour.  Her polka dotted banner using the Flag It die set is adorable and love the touches of distressing.

Loved Inge's use of neutrals, stitching and notebook edge on the sentiment panel. Her layered felt flower and touch of splatter accent her card wonderfully.

Nancy's use of stripes and chevrons  is delightful.  The sentiment is from Small Packages, the large image from Cupcakes and the two small banners are from the Cupcake Frame die set.  Adore her colour combination too!
