'Welcome to our fifth Viva la Verve sketch of October!
Hey there, Verve fans! Marisa here with this week's Recap and Viewfinder - it's our last sketch for October and you still have time to create and entry for this month's challenge.
We'll have 5 October challenges... play along with us and link each of your challenge creations to our Entry Form link list. The
link list will be up for the whole month and we'll choose a random
winner at the end of the month to win a $100 gift voucher to Verve. Challenge rules can be found on the Rules tab at the top of the blog or by clicking here. You don't have to complete all of the sketches to win, but the more cards you enter, the greater your odds of winning. Verve stamps are not required to play, but we do love to see 'em! We'll
also be highlighting a couple of our favorite link-ups each Tuesday, so
be sure to get your links in if you're crafting over the weekend.
Here is this week's Viva la Verve sketch for Week 5....
I'm on a bit of a notebook edge binge after seeing Diva Moe using it on her card for this sketch. Adds such a fun bit of interest and texture to your card. The sentiment is the Hello Friend Plain Jane and I added a flourish from Each Day below it to fill in and balance the sentiment circle. The hearts are from the Heart Quartet and Wavy Hearts die set and just had to use some gingham ribbon as it has been ages since I used some on a card.
Here are a few beautiful cards I spied in the link-up this week...
Autumn's combination of green papers, fabulous sentiment from New Mercies, polka dotted ribbon and leaf sprig and butterfly made for a great take on the sketch.

Loved Blanka's neutral colour pallet and kraft coloured Christmas tree.
Love Rosemary's use of orange and blue to highlight this sentiment from Good Work.
October sketches are complete! This Friday starts off our first Viva La Verve sketch for November, so make sure to come back and see what Julee has created for us to work with.
