Good morning! Anya here again to recap this week's Viva la Verve sketch challenge. I also picked a few fabulous creations to share that are already linked up in the June link list!

Didn't Chaitali do a great job with her first sketch? I loved the inspiration pic, too! Here they are again if you're a little late to the party! :)

Here is the card that I created for this week's sketch. I flipped the sketch and picked up on a few elements from the inspiration photo. I used the Be Blessed set along with the coordinating Petal Points and Sprightly Sprigs die sets.

Here are a few cards in the link list that caught my eye:

Kalla Walla created this sunshiny card using the Beautiful Kindness and Joyful Blooms sets. I love the clear embossed butterfly on the vellum - it looks like stained glass!

The bright pops of color really make Charleen's beautiful thank you card stand out. I love how she stamped her Brighter Days blossom onto patterned paper.

I can tell that inspiration struck Dawn with this week's sketch! She was cranking out the fabulous creations! Of all of them, this one using the Birthday Bots set paired with the colorful patterned paper is my fav!

Some curves for this week's sketch but an overall CAS one. The inspiration pic is more colorful with some summer colors and a cool b&w pattern. And did you notice yet? It has GOLD!

Here is my take on the sketch! I went with lots of gold glitter, a cool and summery blue for the background and a lightly colored flower for the focal point.

Here are a few cards in the link list that caught my eye:

Really love this beauty from Lyn! I have always been drawn to this classy color combination, and I love how she added the pops of red to the centers of the flowers from Be Blessed. Love all the coordination between the layers, too!

I am sure anyone would love to receive this cheerful thank you card from Jen. The colors are so happy, and I love how she stamped the sentiment onto a vellum flag. She did such a great job combining images from Sunny Days and Dream Big to create perfect flowers (great masking, too)!

And rounding us out for today, a wonderful new home card from pink_lady.

How cute is that little paper pieced birdie from the With Love set? And I love that the patterned paper she used makes me think of house materials. A great way to tie it all together!

Here is my take on the sketch!  I went with a fun, trendy and masculine look to go along with the new Diva Dare:  A Man's World Diva Dare, too!

My masculine-themed card features Happy Days  and Scroll Die!

Viva La Verve June 2014 Week 1 Recap and View Finder

Hello Viva la Verve fans! Marisa here popping in with my take on Julee's fabulous sketch and colour combination, as well as a look at some of your gorgeous creations!

For my card I used this wonderful sentiment from Shining Star and since I couldn't find any aqua paper in my stash (need to remedie that asap!), I subbed in a baby blue.  The stars were cut using the Starry Die and I added the star border trim from the Scalloped Trim Trio die set.

Feel free to just use the sketch, just the colors (navy + yellow + aqua) or both!

Here are some of your creations which caught my eye:

Adore this baby card by Darlene!  She used Small Phrases and the Smallest Things Plain Jane for the sentiments and I just adore lace trimmed, embossed baby booties!   A fabulous baby card indeed!

Wanda's Father's Day card is just too fun! She used Dad's Day for the sentiment and Seeing Stars, well for the star LOL!.  I just adore the shaker element, and the veneer stars are the perfect embellishment for a masculine card.

This card by Cheryl Lea does indeed scream "happy".  The polka dotted paper is great, as is the and sparkly happy and embossed vellum with pinked edges.  The Pennant Trim die ties in nicely with the pinked circle and pointy star.
